On October 22nd, a group of 30 fiercely competitive, costume-donning Kagoshima ALTs convened on the small fog-covered town of Sata, Kagoshima. They chatted, they ate (Thanks, Christine, et al!), they played games, but mostly, they strategized.
After a great night’s sleep at the Sata Dayland Cabins, these adrenaline-fueled ALTs headed to Nejime to compete in the annual Dragon Boat Race. Three teams, Team Rocket, Team Oreo, and a third Team, who did so well that I’ve forgotten their name.
The rain poured buckets all morning, but the Kagoshima ALTs preserved, and a great time was had by all.
